There is no better introduction to an understanding of the mind and its working than this volume, which describes the philosophical psychology of Buddhism. The present volume was edited and translated by the Sri Lankan scholar-monk Mahathera Marada and first published in 1956. This translation has now been revised by Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi, with Ven. Rewata Dhamma and Abhidhamma tables by U Silananda. A long introduction explains the basic principles of the Ahbidhamma, while the book specially features 48 charts and tables which represent the subject in a visually accessible format.
